READ IN WEEK

Writer's picture: Sarah HamiltonSarah Hamilton

Twenty-nineteen marks 30 years of Read In Week and I was fortunate enough to be invited again to share my love of books with Ward 5 students.

Thank you to all of the fabulous students and staff of Our Lady of Victories, Bessie Nichols, Our Lady of the Prairies, and Talmud Torah schools for their warm reception.

As always, I encourage you to share your thoughts on any city matters with my office. If you would like to reach out directly, you can connect with me by phone at 780-496-8120, email at sarah.hamilton@edmonton.ca or via twitter @sjlhamilton.

Ward sipiwiyiniwak is located on Treaty 6 Territory and within the Métis homelands and Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4. We acknowledge this land as the traditional territories, traditional meeting grounds, gathering places and travelling routes of many First Nations such as the Nehiyaw (Cree), Denesuliné (Dene), Nakota Sioux (Stoney), Anishinabae (Saulteaux) and Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Métis, and Inuit peoples. It is a welcoming place for all peoples from around the world to share Edmonton as a home.
